Twin sisters Demetra and Eirini Skalidaki both graduated with a BSc in Biomolecular and Genetic Science before exploiting their creative spirit and studying at Central Saint Martins. The designers worked closely with design teams of Gucci, Chanel and Mary Katrantzou and experimented with different types of heavy embroidery before setting up their own Greek label.

The comfort of being authentic and individual - that’s what Laviate designers want women of today to find in their assortment of sensible knits, coats, and of course dresses fashioned in interesting fabrics, hand-drawn digital prints, unordinary silhouettes, and artful patterns all created in a pret-a-couture philosophy.
